Hotel Szalajka Liget****: presentation

"Szilvásvárad" is a settlement which brings joyful experiences for millions of people's mind. This village is located in the natural beauties of the Bükk Mountains, in Northern Hungary.

Rooms

a.) Rooms with twin beds are 24 m2 . Every room has a terrace or balcony (9m2) on the 1st floor. All rooms are air-conditioned. The following amenities will be available:

The bathrooms will have shower or bath-tubes, hairdryer.
b.) apartments with 4 beds
we will have 4 mansard rooms. In the living-room the couch can be transformed comfortable bed. The rooms' amenities will be just the same with those in the hotel.
We also develop a non-smoking floor with an antiallergenic room and 2 rooms for disabled guests.

c.) VIP

This VIP suite will be 80 m2 with 3 rooms, a meeting room (30 m2) and a terrace (25 m2 ). The living room will have multimedia facilities, in the bathroom will be a Jacuzzi.

d.) Apartment houses with 4 beds: these rooms are 67 m2 from which one bedroom has double size bed, the other one single bed. In the anteroom there is a built-in-cupboard, in the living room ( 24 m2 ) we build a kitchen-corner, besides in 8 house a fireplace will be found.
We hope you really can relax and refresh in front of the fireplace, looking at the smoldering woods in the fire surrounded by the silent snowy landscapes.
Every apartment house has a terrace (16 m2) with wood garden furniture.
The prospect you can see now is still a secret, however the apartment houses will have as comfortable amenities as the hotel rooms.

e.) Apartment houses with 6 beds: these rooms are 86 m2 with 3 bed rooms. In the anteroom is a wardrobe. In the living-room (32 m2) the couch can be transformed in bed, being comfortable for two families either. There is kitchen corner in every house and fireplace in two houses. We hope you really can relax and refresh in front of the fireplace, looking at the smoldering woods in the fire surrounded by the silent snowy landscapes.
Every apartment house has a terrace (18 m2) with wood garden furniture.
The prospect you can see now is still a secret, however the apartment houses will have as comfortable amenities as the hotel rooms.

Wellness, services

In the wellness section the following services will be available: Finnish saunas, steam cabin, aroma cell, salt-cabin infrasauna, Jacuzzi, kneipp-pool, and finally an outdoor pool which can be covered.

In the Fitness section a squash court and a fitness room with 6 multifunctional fitness machine.

Restaurant: is developed for the inmate guests' meals. The restaurant together with the conference room is suitable for programs, conferences for 250 people. On the terrace, with a favorite drink or meal you can enjoy the harmony of meals' taste and the closeness of nature. Outside will be a tea-garden for 100 persons, where the smell of grilled trout will spread over in the summer nights.

Playground: we developed a modern play-ground on 250 m2 for children to afford unique experiences during the holidays.

Other facilities: bike-rental, hiking, riding, promenade, diabetes and diet programs.

Szilvásvárad

According to the oldest documents and archives, the village always had been in royal or noble property. It was the property of the following noble families up to the nationalization: Pálóczi, Keglevich, Erdődy and Pallavicini.
Thanks to these noble families, during the times it became a sophisticated village with unique milieu.
Szilvásvárad as a holiday resort is registered since 1971, but in 1984 became really famous and well known, thanks to the VII. Horse-drawn World Cup. From its several national monuments some really unique are the Round White Calvinist Church, Orbán-house which is a splendid heritage of folk architecture and finally the Pallavicini Castle which a castle hotel at the moment. In Szilvásvárad, at Csipkésút-Nagymező is the National Stud Farm, where horse -breeding of Lipicai horse is famous. The Lipica stud got here in 1952, after moving from Mezőhegyes, Fogaras, Bábolna. One of world's most prestigious studs has 240 horses.
