Introduction of Óváros Apartmanházak (Oldtown Apartment Houses) *** Sopron
We are offering special and exclusive accomodations in the beautifully renewed monumental palaces of Sopron’s oldtown district, as well as exclusive premises for business or private programs.
The Haydn House and the Tudósok Háza, situated in Templom Street includes a total of 18 apartments fit for accomodating 47 persons.
For smaller groups, such as groups of friends, we would offer the Karlovits Ház (Karlovits House), in individual rental constructions. The 6 apartments can hold 18 persons.
The three-storey Anna Átrium Conference House (1200 sqm²) is situated in Sopron’s most prestigious area, the oldtown district, Szent György Street, and it is a perfect venue for family events, weddings, company trainings, conferences and press conferences.
Among the renewed palaces transformed into apartments of various size, namely the Haydn Ház, the Tudósok Háza, The Karlovits Ház and the Anna Átrium Conference House, one can find apartments with either contemporary or modern furniture. The offer ranges from mini apartments to 159 sqm presidential suites. The apartments have different types of bathrooms and well-equipped kitchens. Internet access, cable tv with movie channel, as well as closed parking place is included in the rent.
On the walls of the apartments you can see pieces of fine art from the most outstanding artists of the country, which makes Óváros Apartmanházak (Oldtown Apartmenthouses) *** Sopron perfectly unique in itself.
For those interested in contemporary fine arts we can arrange a guided tour. Our guests can also visit the most precious pieces of the Körmendi-Csák Collection in the exhibition hall of the Artner Palace, which is also situated in the oldtown district, and where you can find an artshop as well.
The price of apartments in the off-season is 21,8 EUR*/night/person, in the high season
25,5 EUR*/night/person.
The apartments have 1, 2, 3 or 4 beds, and their prices alter according to their types.
· standard modern apartment: standard size with modern equipment
· superior modern apartment: large apartment with modern equipment
· superior classic apartment: large apartment with classical equipment
* Remarks:
The discounts are due from the 3rd day onwards: we grant a discount of 3,7 EUR* /person/night from the room rate of the 3rd-4th day, and of 7,4 EUR*/person/night from the 5th day, from the basic price to be payed for the 1st-2nd days.
A collective discount for a group can be claimed for a minimum of 14 persons, the price in this case is 18,1 EUR*/person/night.
Morning packet: 1,8 EUR*/person**
Child discount: under 6 years of age free of charge, between 6-12 years 50 %.
Spare bed: 7,4 EUR*
There is a parking possibility in the yards of the apartment houses and in the underground garage, the price which is 2,6 EUR*/night/car.
- The above mentioned prices are due up to withdrawal from 2010 February 22, valid for the apartments to be found in the Haydn House and the House of Scolars. The prices include the VAT, but do not include the local tourist tax, the extent of which is 1,2 EUR*/person/night for our guests over 18.

Other rules Check-in on the day of arrival from 2 PM. Check-out on the day of departure up to 1 AM. All of our apartments are non-smoking.
