Bogács is situated in the valley of brooks Hór and Szoros, at the southern foot of the Bükk Mountains.
The village, rich in natural sights and old places of memory, earned its national renown with the thermal water found in 1958, it has been medicinal water since 2001.The thermal bath was built on the northern part of the village. There are five pools with thermal water, a pool for small children and a fine swimming-pool.
