Location
The hotel is located in the heart of the Bakony Mountains, in a small village called Bakonybél. It lies between the cities Zirc and Pápa, 145 kilometers from Budapest. The most important attraction of the place is its exceptionally wonderful natural surroundings. Bakonybél lies in the Bakony Natural Preserve Area. The most important hiking trail of Hungary, the so-called “Blue Trail” passes through the village.
The Bakony Mountains is also rich in cultural history. One of the most important burial territories with burial hills of the Celts (from the 2nd century) can be found in the forest near Bakonybél. Nice excursions can be taken to the romanesque abbey of Pannonhalma, the castle ruins of Csesznek and the neighboring historic towns of Zirc and Pápa.
How to get there
Coming from Budapest on highway M7 to lake Balaton, then through Veszprém and Zirc to Bakonybél.
